Drop bags will be available for 100K runners at Siskiyou Gap aid station (miles 8.5 and 21.5) and Potlicker aid station (miles 31.6 and 49.5). Please keep them to the size of a shoe box.
Note: you might want a headlamp and jacket when leaving Potlicker for the second time. Poles are only allowed from Potlicker on.
Cut-offs are in effect for the 100K course! For 2024, cut-off times have increased by one hour from prior years. Runners must exit the aid station by the cut-off times listed below or they will be pulled from the event by the aid station captains. Aid station captains have the final word. Runners crossing the finish line after the final cut-off will not be scored in the results.
The second half of the course, from Potlicker on, can be hot. We suggest you carry at least 1.5L of water. There is an additional water supply on Hitt Road, between Ricketty 1 and Ricketty 2.
Same as 50K course to the second time through Willamette
Meridian. From there we head north on the Split Rock trail.
After 3 miles head down the Wagner Glade Trail to the Potlicker
aid station at 2060 (drop bags available), then down Potlicker.
Potlicker takes you to Horn Gap Road. Head down the road,
passing the Ricketty Aid Station, to 2060 then right, down to
Wonder Trail. A climb will take you to Fell-on-Knee Trail where
you will take another right, heading down to Hitt Road. Up Hitt
Road, down 2060 to Horn Gap Road where Ricketty and station and
another climb awaits. At the top of Ricketty a small section on
FS roads will take you to No Candies Trail. Out No Candies to
Road 2060 at Horn Gap, then a (comparatively) flat section of
Road 2060 to the Time Warp Aid Station. Up Time Warp (yes this
is a bitch epic climb) to the top of Mt Ashland, then a quick
jaunt to the finish at the Mt. Ashland Lodge. You don’t need to
remember this. The course will be well marked!
